The Helix Plus is one of the most thoughtfully engineered mattresses in the industry — because it was designed from the ground up for plus-size sleepers, not just scaled up from a standard model. Standard mattresses are typically rated for a combined weight of around 500 lbs and often compress excessively for heavier individuals, losing their support and pressure relief. The Helix Plus solves this with a higher-density base foam (2.0 lb/ft³ vs. the standard 1.5), reinforced pocketed coils that are thicker-gauge (15.5 gauge vs. the standard 16 gauge), and a firmer zoned comfort layer that prevents "bottoming out."
